Inventory Head
Location: Palsana, Surat, Gujarat

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Position Summary
The Inventory Head will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an efficient inventory management system for the Digital Textile Printing business. The role involves ensuring accurate inventory records, maintaining optimum stock levels, controlling inventory costs, and managing ERP-based inventory operations. The candidate will work closely with Procurement, Sales, Service, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials and smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective inventory management policies and procedures.
- Manage end-to-end inventory operations through the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for:
o Digital Textile Printers
o Inks
o Fabrics
o Transfer Papers
o Print Heads
o Spare Parts
o Consumables and Accessories
- Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum inventory norms.
- Plan inventory replenishment based on sales forecasts and consumption trends.
- Conduct periodic stock verification, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and ageing inventory.
- Optimise inventory turnover and reduce working capital blockage.
- Coordinate with Procurement for timely material availability.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and dashboards.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of inventory.
- Establish inventory control systems to minimize losses and improve accuracy.
- Maintain documentation related to inventory transactions and compliance requirements.
- Lead and supervise the inventory/store team while driving process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant certification in Supply Chain/Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Inventory Management, Store Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in the Digital Textile Printing, Textile Machinery, Printing Equipment, Engineering, or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ERP-based inventory management systems.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
