Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Academic Counseling Team Leader to guide and manage a team of academic counselors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that individual and team targets are met while maintaining high-quality student counseling and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of academic counselors to enhance performance.
- Set clear goals and performance benchmarks for the team and track their progress.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve counseling skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate individual counselor performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
Academic Counseling & Sales Target Achievement:
- Guide counselors in providing personalized academic guidance to students and parents.
- Ensure the team effectively communicates course offerings, career paths, and enrollment procedures.
- Support counselors in overcoming challenges to help them meet and exceed their individual targets.
- Strategize and implement action plans to achieve overall team targets and contribute to company growth.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Develop and implement best practices to enhance student engagement and conversion rates.
- Maintain reports on team performance, student inquiries, and conversion rates, providing insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to optimize lead generation and student enrollment.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in academic counseling, sales, or team management (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Target-oriented mindset with the ability to motivate and drive team success.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and strategize for performance improvement.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
