Job Summary
The Mechanical Trainee will assist the mechanical maintenance team in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment used in newspaper printing operations. The trainee will learn practical skills related to machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintenance of printing machines and mechanical equipment.
- Support technicians in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Help with installation and maintenance of machine parts.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication and cleaning.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Mechanical Supervisor/Engineer.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and machines
- Willingness to learn and work in a team
- Basic problem-solving ability
Other Requirements
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
Working Conditions
- Work in printing press / production environment
- May require shift work
