Job Purpose
The Dietitian will provide personalized nutrition counseling to patients through video consultations. The role involves reviewing patients’ medical history, laboratory reports, lifestyle and dietary habits, and recommending practical diet plans to support disease management, recovery and overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct scheduled video consultations with patients in a professional, respectful and empathetic manner.
· Understand each patient’s medical condition, lifestyle, food habits, allergies, preferences and nutritional requirements.
· Review relevant laboratory reports and available medical information before providing dietary guidance.
· Prepare personalized, practical and affordable diet plans based on the patient’s condition, age, food preferences and lifestyle.
· Provide nutrition counseling for kidney related conditions, general wellness and preventive healthcare.
· Explain diet plans clearly in Hindi, Punjabi and/or English according to the patient’s preferred language.
· Educate patients on portion control, meal timing, hydration, food substitutions and sustainable lifestyle practices.
· Conduct follow-up consultations and modify diet plans based on patient progress, compliance and clinical results.
· Maintain accurate records of consultations, diet plans, patient progress and follow-up requirements.
· Coordinate with doctors, laboratory teams and other healthcare professionals whenever required.
· Ensure that dietary guidance remains within the professional scope of practice and does not replace medical treatment.
· Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information, reports and medical records.
· Participate in health-awareness programmes, webinars, camps and patient-education initiatives.
Qualification Requirements
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or a related discipline.
· Registered Dietitian certification will be preferred.
· Certification in diabetes education, clinical nutrition or therapeutic nutrition will be an advantage.
Experience
· Preferably 1–3 years of experience in clinical nutrition, hospitals, diagnostic centres, wellness clinics or online dietary consultation.
· Freshers with strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Prior experience in video or telephonic consultations will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
