Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role focuses on building robust test automation frameworks using Playwright & Selenium with Java and validating application functionality through strong testing practices. The candidate is expected to work independently, contribute to automation strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while leveraging Agile methodologies and modern tools to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Strong automation knowledge in Playwright
Good automation knowledge in Selenium with Java.
Strong understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks
Knowledge of defect lifecycle and defect management tools
Familiarity with ALM Octane or similar test management tools is a plus.
Experience working in Agile methodology.
Ability to work independently and handle tasks end-to-end.
Knowledge on using AI tools (Copilot) for improving testing efficiency.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Playwright.
