Job Title: PLC Operator
Department: Production / Maintenance
Location: Plant Site
Reports To: Plant Head
Job Summary:
The PLC Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting PLC-based machinery and automation systems to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor PLC-controlled machines and systems.
- Ensure continuous production with minimal downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot PLC faults, alarms, and breakdowns.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain proper records of machine performance and downtime.
- Ensure safety standards and SOP compliance during operations.
- Perform basic PLC programming adjustments (if required).
- Report any abnormalities to the supervisor immediately.
Skills & Requirements:
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Electronics / Automation.
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred).
- Understanding of electrical circuits and control panels.
- Ability to handle breakdown situations efficiently.
- Experience: 1–3 years (preferred in manufacturing/plant environment).
Working Conditions:
- Shift-based duty (Day/Night rotation).
- Work in plant environment with machinery and automation systems.
