Position: Senior Structural Design Engineer / Bridge Design Engineer
Experience Required: Minimum 8 years in Bridge Design
Qualification: M.Tech in Structural Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of bridges and related civil structures.
- Preparation and review of structural calculations, drawings, and design reports.
- Develop bridge models using structural analysis software.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant IRC, IS codes, and international standards where applicable.
- Review shop drawings, BOQs, and technical submissions.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical discussions with clients/consultants.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafting teams.
- Support project delivery within timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills & Software Knowledge
- Strong experience in bridge structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in:
- STAAD.Pro
- AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of MIDAS (preferred/optional).
- Knowledge of RCC and steel bridge design.
- Familiarity with IRC codes and bridge loading standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in bridge engineering projects.
- Experience in highway/railway bridge projects is an advantage.
- Ability to independently handle design assignments and client coordination.
