At Finastra, we’re a global leader in financial services software, dedicated to expanding access to financial services and shaping what’s next for the industry. Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries.

Finastra has signed an agreement to sell its Universal Banking business to Pollen Street Capital, with completion expected end 2026 / early 2027, subject to consultation and customary closing conditions. Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.
We are building the next generation of corporate banking capabilities using a composable domain service approach, aligned to an agentic platform direction. This represents a shift away from monolithic core systems towards modular, domain-aligned, API-first services delivered incrementally.
As Senior Product Owner for Corporate Banking (Cash & Liquidity), you will own the outcomes, priorities and decision frameworks for critical banking capabilities across liquidity management and core cash operations. In an agentic platform world, many traditional Product Owner activities, such as requirements elaboration, story generation and test scenario creation, will be AI-assisted. The human role therefore shifts from managing artefacts to owning domain outcomes, agent behaviour, governance, business rules and measurable value.
This role sits within the Corporate Banking Product Management function and reports to the Product Manager for Corporate Banking.
You will be responsible for capabilities across cash and liquidity, including:
This domain forms a foundational layer of the corporate banking platform, supporting real-time liquidity management, operational control, and client-facing cash services. Knowledge of bilateral and syndicated lending would be beneficial but is not essential.
Make prioritisation decisions that balance client needs, architecture, delivery constraints, risk, governance and long-term platform reuse.
Agent Behaviour and Decision Governance
Human-in-the-Loop Operating Models
Define human-in-the-loop operating models for key workflows, including escalations, exceptions, approvals and control points.
Business Rules, Policies and Knowledge Ownership
Agentic Platform and AI Literacy
Use AI-assisted approaches to accelerate discovery, backlog refinement, requirements elaboration and validation, while retaining human accountability.
Engineering and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Contribute to APIs, service contracts, event interactions, data structures and flows where these shape product behaviour.
Strong knowledge in one or more of cash management, liquidity management, payments, transaction banking or corporate banking operations.
Experience translating product strategy into epics, features, acceptance criteria, business rules and delivery guidance.
Exposure to agentic workflows, AI-assisted product delivery, decision governance, rules engines or human-in-the-loop operating models.
You will operate within a domain-aligned product structure, working alongside:
The role requires a balance of outcome ownership, backlog discipline, domain understanding, decision governance and cross-functional collaboration. It also requires the ability to work with AI-assisted delivery practices without losing human ownership of business intent, rules and outcomes.
We are building using a composable domain service model:
This enables banks to adopt new capabilities progressively, without requiring large-scale core replacement, while allowing product teams to focus more strongly on outcomes, explainable decisions and reusable domain intelligence.
