Supervises: a team of 7 members including Accounts Managers & Accounts Officers
This is a senior leadership role overseeing the end-to-end financial operations of a vertically integrated operations - agriculture, textiles and garment exports, and construction projects. The role requires someone deeply hands-on with accounting, cost control, ERP, and multi-location coordination, while providing strategic MIS, audit oversight, and treasury controls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the accounting and audit teams across 5+ locations
- Set clear SOPs for reporting, approvals, audits, and reconciliation workflows
- Own consolidation and interpretation of financial reports for leadership
2. Multi-Vertical Financial Control
- Manage accounts and controls across:
- Agriculture (input costs, consolidated cost per season, p&l)
- Textiles & Exports (yarn procurement through till buyer payment)
- Construction Projects (site-wise BOQ tracking, vendor payments, capitalisation)
- Define and oversee cost centres for each division
3. MIS, Budgeting & Projections
- Create daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports: production cost, stock status, buyer profitability
- Prepare plan vs actual reports, variance analysis, and productivity dashboards
- Support preparation of financial projections, CMA data for bank renewals, and working capital planning
4. Inventory, Audit & Internal Controls
- Supervise stock movement reporting and ERP-based consumption tracking
- Oversee forensic audits across yarn, fabric, trims, and finished goods
- Ensure regular physical stock audits and ERP reconciliation
- Create and enforce internal checks to prevent pilferage or misuse
5. Export Accounting & Incentives
- Ensure compliance and accuracy in export documentation: invoice, packing list, LC
- Track and reconcile RoDTEP, RoSCTL, and bank realisations
- Liaise with banks for forex payments, LC negotiation, and document submission
6. Payroll & Treasury Management
- Review weekly and monthly salary statements, ensuring accuracy and statutory deductions
- Supervise salary payments across departments and confirm timely disbursements
- Oversee bank payments, vendor dues, cash flow forecasts, and fund movement
- Maintain vendor ageing reports and payment priority dashboards
7. ERP & Process Automation
- Lead ERP integration
- Build workflows for approvals, auto-alerts, and traceability
- Ensure all cost entries, stock updates, and journal entries are ERP-compliant
Criteria Requirement
Experience 25 years, with deep exposure to export finance, agriculture, or textile production accounting
Qualifications CA, M.Com, CMA, CA Inter, MBA (Finance)
Key Skills Inventory costing, MIS, internal audits, projections, ERP fluency, team handling
Bonus Experience in construction project accounting
