Role Summary
The Service Engineer Head will be responsible for leading the service engineering team, managing field service operations, ensuring timely technical support, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining high service quality for lithium battery products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team of service engineers and technicians across assigned regions.
- Plan and supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of lithium battery systems.
- Provide advanced technical support and root cause analysis for complex service issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and service tickets.
- Monitor service engineers’ daily activities, attendance, and performance.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, R&D, and Sales teams for technical improvements.
- Handle warranty-related service cases, replacements, and technical validations.
- Ensure proper documentation of service reports, checklists, and service MIS.
- Train service engineers and dealers on product handling, safety, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and company policies during service activities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, BMS, chargers, and energy storage systems.
- Excellent leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle customer escalations and field challenges.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively as per service requirements.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
