As a Level 2 Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. You will work closely with other members of the software development team to ensure that software applications meet business requirements and user needs.

- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the codebase:
oReviewing code written by other team members, offering feedback, and contributing to the codebase as needed.

- Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies:

oMaking recommendations for improvements to existing software applications and processes.
- Participate in Design Documentation:
oDocumenting software design, patterns, and key decisions ensuring that they are clear and concise and can be easily understood by other team members.

C#, ASP.NET Core / .NET 6+
RESTful API design and development
Entity Framework Core / LINQ
SQL Server (or similar RDBMS) — query optimization, stored procedures
Object-Oriented Programming & Design Patterns
Unit Testing (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest)
Git / version control workflows
Azure including Azure Cosmos DB
Microservices architecture
AI/ML exposure: Familiarity with integrating AI APIs (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, Semantic Kernel), prompt engineering basics, or using ML.NET
CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Front-end familiarity (Angular/React/Blazor) — nice to have
Message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka/Azure Service Bus)
1.3 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
3-6 years of experience in software development.
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
Good communication skills
