Job Title: Company Driver & Delivery Executive
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and punctual Company Driver & Delivery Executive to handle the daily transportation and delivery of our frozen food products. This position is open to both freshers and experienced drivers.
You will be responsible for safely driving the company delivery vehicle, ensuring frozen products are loaded securely, and delivering orders accurately to supermarkets, retail stores, and distributors on your daily assigned route.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive the company-provided delivery vehicle (e.g., loading auto, pickup van, or mini-truck) safely and responsibly following all traffic laws.
- Order Delivery: Load frozen food boxes securely from our manufacturing plant/warehouse and deliver the correct quantities to clients according to the daily delivery challan/invoice.
- Cold Chain Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle’s cooling compartment or insulated delivery boxes are kept shut tightly during transit so the frozen products do not melt.
- Payment & Document Collection: Collect signatures, stamps, or payments (cash/UPI) from shop owners upon successful delivery and safely hand them over to the accounting department daily.
- Vehicle Care: Perform basic daily checks of the vehicle (oil levels, tire pressure, fuel, brakes) and report any maintenance, repair, or servicing needs immediately.
- Stock Loading/Unloading: Assist in the physical loading of stock at the factory and unloading at customer locations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- License Requirement: Must possess a valid, active commercial driving license (LMV - Light Motor Vehicle ). A clean driving record with no major accidents or violations is mandatory.
- Experience: Open to all. Freshers with excellent driving skills are welcome to apply. Prior experience as a delivery driver, courier executive, or FMCG route driver is a plus.
- Route Knowledge: Good familiarity with local geographical routes, shortcuts, and commercial market areas.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy frozen food crates and delivery boxes (up to 20-25 kg) throughout the day.
- Personal Traits: Punctual, honest, polite behavior with customers, and a professional attitude. Must own a basic smartphone to use navigation maps and communication apps.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
