About the Role
We are looking for a **Freelance Content Editor with strong knowledge of the automobile industry** to review, edit, and refine automotive content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cars, bikes, EVs, automotive technology, and industry trends, along with excellent editorial and proofreading skills.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all content is **accurate, engaging, well-structured, grammatically correct, and aligned with SEO and editorial guidelines.**
Key Responsibilities
* Review, edit, and proofread automotive content including blogs, articles, guides, comparisons, reviews, and informational content.
* Fact-check automotive specifications, features, technical information, pricing, launches, industry updates, and other relevant details.
* Ensure content is clear, accurate, reader-friendly, and free from grammatical and factual errors.
* Simplify complex automotive concepts and technical information for a general audience.
* Ensure consistency in tone, style, formatting, and overall editorial quality.
* Optimize content for SEO, including keywords, headings, readability, internal linking, and metadata wherever required.
* Research automotive trends, new vehicle launches, EVs, technologies, regulations, and market developments.
* Identify gaps, inconsistencies, outdated information, and areas requiring improvement.
* Work with writers to provide clear and constructive editorial feedback.
* Deliver assignments within agreed timelines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹40,544.32 per month
