Role Summary
We are looking for a driven and field-oriented Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) to support revenue growth by generating leads, meeting SME clients, conducting demos, and closing deals. This role also involves supporting the Area Sales Manager in managing pipeline, partnerships, and coordinating with the internal team for smooth onboarding.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a full Sales Manager or Team Lead role in the future.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Execution
- Identify and approach SME business owners and decision-makers
- Generate new sales opportunities through field visits, calls, and referrals
- Understand client workflows (sales, operations, finance, support) and suggest automation solutions
- Assist in conducting product demos and presentations
- Follow up consistently to move leads through the sales pipeline
- Support negotiation and assist in closing deals
- Ensure smooth handover to the implementation team
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM updates (pipeline, follow-up dates, deal stages, notes)
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports
- Track targets and performance metrics
Partner & Referral Development
- Support onboarding of channel partners (consultants, agencies, IT firms)
- Help build and maintain referral networks
- Coordinate with partners for joint meetings and closures
Team Support & Growth
- Assist the Sales Manager in achieving regional targets
- Support onboarding of new sales executives
- Learn leadership and territory management skills for future growth
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Software / SaaS / ERP / CRM / IT sales (preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Hindi is an added advantage
- Good negotiation and follow-up skills
- Comfortable with field travel and meeting clients daily
- Basic technical skills (Email, WhatsApp, Google Sheets, CRM tools, presentations)
- Target-driven and eager to grow into leadership roles
