Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled DO-178 Engineer with hands-on experience in avionics software certification and safety-critical systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DO-178B lifecycle processes, embedded software verification, certification documentation, and aerospace compliance standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace and defense projects, ensuring software compliance for mission-critical avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities: DO-178B Software Compliance & Certification
- Develop and verify embedded software compliant with DO-178B standards (DAL A–E).
- Prepare and maintain certification documentation including:
- PSAC (Plan for Software Aspects of Certification)
- SDP (Software Development Plan)
- SVP (Software Verification Plan)
- SCMP (Software Configuration Management Plan)
- SQAP (Software Quality Assurance Plan)
- Ensure compliance with aviation software certification requirements.
Verification & Validation
- Perform Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
- Conduct requirements-based testing.
- Execute structural coverage analysis including MC/DC coverage.
- Ensure complete traceability between requirements, design, source code, and test cases.
Certification & Regulatory Support
- Coordinate with certification authorities and stakeholders.
- Experience working with CEMILAC and DGAQA certification processes.
- Support audits, reviews, and certification activities.
