Profile:
We are looking for a finance professional who can act as a strategic financial partner to management and operations teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong capabilities in budgeting, forecasting, project costing, financial planning, and cost control, with the ability to support business growth through data-driven financial insights and operational discipline.The candidate should be comfortable working in dynamic project-based environments such as marine, EPC, engineering, infrastructure, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cost and Management Accounting / CMA Inter preferred
- MBA Finance / CA Inter
- Experience in: project finance, commercial finance, cost control, budgeting, project accounting, or operational finance
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting, Forecasting & Commercial Financial Planning
- Prepare project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections for ongoing and upcoming marine projects and commercial operations
- Monitor budget utilization and compare actual project costs against forecasted budgets to identify variances and financial risks
- Coordinate with project, commercial, and operations teams to estimate project costs, resource requirements, and expected profitability for upcoming tenders and commercial opportunities
- Develop periodic forecasting reports covering revenue projections, project expenditure trends, operational cash requirements, and profitability outlooks
- Track financial performance of ongoing projects and provide proactive recommendations for cost optimization and budgetary control
Project Costing & Cost Control
- Monitor project-wise costs, resource utilization, and commercial performance
- Implement cost-control mechanisms across procurement, operations, manpower, and project execution
- Track project profitability and identify areas of financial leakage or unnecessary expenditure
- Coordinate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and project accounting
- Develop and maintain project cost trackers, profitability reports, and cost center structures
- Evaluate vendor pricing, subcontractor costs, and operational expenditures
Commercial Finance & Operational Support
- Assist management in pricing analysis, tender costing, commercial evaluations, and project feasibility assessments.
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and project teams to optimize financial performance
- Evaluate vendor pricing, subcontractor costs, and operational expenditures
Compliance & Financial Governance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, statutory regulations, and internal financial controls
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and finance teams during audits and compliance reviews
- Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready financial records
- Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems
