We are looking for a passionate and talented Chinese Chef to join our culinary team and bring authentic and innovative Chinese cuisine to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes with consistency and excellence.
- Create and maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and food quality.
- Develop new menu items and seasonal specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices in accordance with food safety standards.
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and minimize wastage.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff in Chinese cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Coordinate with management and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chinese Chef in a restaurant, café, hotel, or food service establishment.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, wok cooking, and ingredient handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Passion for culinary excellence and innovation.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong leadership qualities.
