As part of the Empower team, the Systems Administrator – Microsoft 365, Windows & Cloud Infrastructure will provide operational and technical support across Microsoft 365 and Windows infrastructure teams. This role will administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Online, AWS cloud, and hyperconverged infrastructure environments. The Systems Administrator will also manage incidents and service requests, support infrastructure projects and upgrades, and ensure clear documentation and handoff of unresolved issues across teams and time zones.
- Microsoft 365 administration, with a primary focus on Exchange Online
- Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Windows infrastructure services, including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Incident, service request, and technical ticket troubleshooting
- Strong written technical documentation, communication, and cross-team handoff skills
- Entra ID and identity and access management
- Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), compute, storage, and virtualization
- Proofpoint or similar enterprise email security platforms
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Infrastructure monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, networking, and security fundamentals
- AI and automation technologies applied to IT operations
- 3–5+ years of systems administration, infrastructure support, or related enterprise IT experience
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud environments
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple incidents, service requests, and operational priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Preferred work hours are 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST, with flexibility based on candidate availability and business needs
- Ability to provide coverage and coordinate technical handoffs with U.S.-based teams
- Additional or after-hours support may be required for critical incidents, maintenance, and planned infrastructure changes
