Candidates must have hands-on experience in managing showroom sales, handling sales teams, driving revenue growth, planning promotional activities, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to achieve monthly and annual sales targets effectively.
Applicants with prior experience in motorcycle/scooter dealerships, automotive retail sales, OEM networks, or two-wheeler distribution channels will be highly preferred.

Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the complete sales operations of the two-wheeler dealership. The role includes achieving sales targets, managing the sales team, developing business strategies, increasing market penetration, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth showroom operations.
The candidate will play a key role in maximizing vehicle sales, improving profitability, maintaining dealership standards, and strengthening customer relationships through effective sales planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for two-wheelers.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.
- Monitor daily sales performance and showroom footfall conversion.
- Ensure maximum retail sales through lead generation and customer engagement.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to improve sales performance.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct daily sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Train and mentor sales executives on product knowledge, customer handling, and sales techniques.
- Set individual sales targets and monitor team productivity.
- Encourage a high-performance and customer-focused work culture.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve complaints professionally.
- Build long-term relationships with customers to increase repeat business and referrals.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement improvement initiatives.
4. Showroom Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day showroom operations and display management.
- Maintain dealership standards, cleanliness, and visual merchandising.
- Coordinate vehicle availability with inventory and logistics teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance during vehicle delivery processes.
5. Business Development & Marketing
- Plan local marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement programs.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.
- Coordinate with finance and insurance teams to improve retail conversions.
- Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, and outdoor promotional events.
6. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales KPIs, conversion ratios, and team performance.
- Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
Experience Required
- 5–10 years of experience in automobile sales, preferably in the two-wheeler industry.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a managerial or team handling role.
- Experience in dealership sales operations and target-driven environments preferred.
