Core Responsibilities
- Facility Management: Oversee the preventative and breakdown maintenance of critical hospital infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical distribution networks, plumbing, and backup power.
- Project Delivery: Plan and execute facility upgrades, expansions, or equipment modernizations on schedule and within budget.
- Vendor & AMC Management: Negotiate and track Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMCs) with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and external contractors.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., NABH, JCI, and local fire safety codes) to minimize risk and ensure a sterile, hazard-free environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and roster a team of maintenance technicians, biomedical engineers, and custodial staff.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, B.tech in Civil Engineering, or Facilities Management.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in hospital maintenance, facility management, or a similar biomedical engineering role.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certifications are highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong crisis management, proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and deep knowledge of healthcare safety standards.
Pay: ₹616,801.62 - ₹2,132,566.02 per year
