About the Role
We are a fast-growing FMCG import and distribution company bringing premium international food and beverage brands to the Indian market. We are seeking a Cost Accountant to support our finance team with product costing, inventory management, profitability analysis, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain product cost sheets.
Calculate landed costs for imported products, including freight, customs duties, warehousing, and logistics expenses.
Manage inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation across warehouses and distributors.
Monitor inventory ageing and stock turnover.
Analyze product, brand, customer, distributor, and channel profitability.
Track margins and support pricing decisions.
Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Monitor working capital and inventory performance.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, sales, and finance teams.
Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
CA / CMA (ICWA) / MBA Finance / M.Com.
3–5 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis.
Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Distribution, Trading, Retail, or Import-Export industries preferred.
Strong knowledge of costing, inventory accounting, and profitability analysis.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

Import costing and landed cost calculations.
Inventory management in multi-location businesses.
Distributor-wise and channel-wise profitability analysis.
Working capital and inventory optimization.
