Logistics & Dispatch Executive
Job Summary
The Logistics & Dispatch Executive is responsible for managing dispatch operations, coordinating transportation, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining logistics documentation. The role requires high availability and flexibility to support uninterrupted logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute daily dispatch schedules as per sales and production requirements
Ensure round-the-clock (24×7) availability to handle urgent dispatches, vehicle movement, and logistics-related issues
Remain available on Sundays, public holidays, and during emergencies as per operational requirements
Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and courier partners at all times to ensure smooth operations
Prepare, verify, and maintain dispatch documents including invoice, e-way bill, delivery challan, LR/GR, and POD
Monitor shipment movement and proactively follow up to ensure on-time deliveries
Handle and resolve dispatch delays, vehicle breakdowns, route issues, or delivery failures
Maintain accurate dispatch, freight, and logistics records in ERP or manual systems
Ensure proper packing, labeling, loading, and unloading of materials
Coordinate with warehouse, production, sales, and accounts departments
Monitor freight costs and support cost control and optimization initiatives
Ensure compliance with GST regulations, transport laws, and company policies
Collect and verify proof of delivery (POD) and close dispatch documentation on time
Working Conditions & Availability
Must be available 24×7 to support logistics and dispatch operations
Willingness to work on Sundays, holidays, and beyond regular working hours as required
May be required to attend calls or coordinate remotely during off-hours
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and time-critical situations
Good knowledge of logistics, dispatch, and transportation processes
Familiarity with GST, e-way bills, and ERP systems
High sense of responsibility, ownership, and commitment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
