Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Admission Counselor to lead and support the student admissions process. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students through program selection, admissions requirements, and enrollment procedures while ensuring a positive and informative experience. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of the admissions lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, admission requirements, and career outcomes.
- Manage the complete admissions cycle from inquiry to enrollment.
- Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person counseling sessions.
- Follow up with leads, inquiries, and applicants to ensure timely conversion.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and applicant data in the CRM system.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- Train and mentor junior admission counselors.
- Coordinate with marketing, academic, and administrative teams to streamline the admission process.
- Organize and participate in admission events, webinars, and campus tours.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and admission guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 – 6+ years of experience in admissions counseling, education sales, or student recruitment.
- Proven track record of meeting enrollment or sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience using CRM or student management systems is preferred.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
