Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-orientated senior academic counsellor to guide prospective students, convert qualified leads into admissions, and support the growth of our academic programmes. The ideal candidate should possess strong counselling, sales, and communication skills with a passion for achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding our academic programmes.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and virtual meetings.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Follow up consistently to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Achieve individual and team admission targets.
- Maintain accurate lead records and follow-up schedules using CRM/ERP systems.
- Coordinate with the admissions, academic, and marketing teams for seamless student onboarding.
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
- Provide regular reports on lead conversion and sales performance.
- Mentor junior counsellors and support the academic counselling team in achieving departmental goals.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, EdTech, or admissions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam. Knowledge of Hindi or Tamil is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation and counselling abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM, MS Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Experience
- EdTech or higher education admissions.
- Online learning platforms.
- Counselling students for certificate, diploma, or degree programs.
