Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy PRT Computer Teacher to teach primary classes. The ideal candidate should be able to introduce young learners to basic computer concepts in an engaging, interactive, and activity-based manner while fostering curiosity and digital skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach basic computer skills to primary classes (I–V) as per school curriculum
- Introduce students to fundamentals such as MS Office, typing skills, internet safety, and basic coding concepts
- Plan and deliver interactive, activity-based lessons using smart boards and digital tools
- Develop age-appropriate worksheets, assignments, and assessments
- Maintain computer lab discipline and ensure proper usage of systems
- Promote digital awareness and cyber safety among students
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and ICT-based activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science/IT or related field with B.Ed. (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and educational technology
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Creative approach towards teaching young learners
- Experience in CBSE schools preferred
