Role Description
The Senior Ticketing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end ticketing process. Day-to-day tasks include handling ticket bookings, cancellations, and modifications across various platforms, ensuring accuracy in fare calculations, schedules, and customer details. The role involves coordinating with vendors, travel partners, or internal departments to resolve ticketing issues promptly and professionally. The Senior Ticketing Executive will monitor ticketing queues, maintain up-to-date records, and prepare regular reports on ticketing activities and performance. This position also requires guiding junior ticketing staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, and delivering responsive customer support in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong ticketing and reservation management skills, including experience with major booking and GDS systems.
- Proficiency in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping to ensure accurate and timely ticket processing.
- Solid customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex itineraries, fare rules, and schedule changes.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high volumes of tickets without errors.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Surat, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Prior experience in ticketing or travel operations, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Relevant diploma or degree in travel, tourism, business, or a related field is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
