Online / Offline / Home tutoring at Kochi
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor for (ALL SUBJECTS) to join our team. You will work one-on-one or in small groups with students to help them master [Subject], improve their study habits, and boost their academic confidence. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, patient with different learning styles, and capable of breaking down complex concepts into simple, actionable steps.
A home tutor provides personalized, one-on-one instruction to students in their homes. The role focuses on improving academic performance, reinforcing classroom learning, and helping students prepare for exams or develop specific skills.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored lessons in subjects based on the student’s needs.
- Assist with homework, assignments, and projects.
- Prepare students for tests, exams, or entrance assessments.
- Identify learning gaps and create strategies to address them.
- Track and report student progress to parents/guardians.
- Encourage independent learning and critical thinking.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong subject knowledge in relevant areas (e.g., Math, Science, Languages).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and ability to connect with students.
- Organizational skills for lesson planning and progress tracking.
- Flexibility to adjust teaching methods.
- Ability to motivate and build student confidence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or relevant subject field.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Familiarity with school curriculum and exam formats.
- Ability to travel to students’ homes or conduct online sessions.
- Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance, Permanent, Fresher
Contract length: 52 weeks
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 4 per week
