Key ResponsibilitiesAI-Driven QA & Testing Excellence
- Use AI tools for generating and optimizing test cases, data sets, and QA documentation.
- Develop and refine AI prompts for regression, exploratory, and edge-case testing.
- Validate AI-generated outputs to ensure correctness and business alignment.
- Stay updated with emerging AI QA practices and introduce them into the team.
Quality Assurance Strategy & TDD Alignment
- Define and maintain QA best practices, standards, and processes aligned with TDD/BDD approaches.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts to review requirements and ensure testability from the start.
- Participate in requirement grooming sessions to translate acceptance criteria into test cases.
- Drive end-to-end quality ownership across functional, regression, performance, and compliance testing.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with Product Managers to align QA coverage with business requirements and product goals.
- Collaborate with Developers, DevOps, and UI/UX teams to ensure smooth releases.
- Provide quality insights and risk assessments during sprint planning and release cycles.
- Act as a bridge between QA and Product teams, ensuring customer experience is validated at every stage.
Leadership & Team Building
- Act as the QA leader ensuring timely delivery of testing commitments.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers in AI-assisted testing methodologies.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to upskill the team on AI QA tools and frameworks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the QA function.
- Encourage team-led initiatives to improve QA productivity and efficiency.
- Drive team engagement, recognition
- Resolve conflicts effectively, ensuring a healthy and collaborative work environment.
- Build succession plans and support career growth of QA engineers into advanced roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of QA experience.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest).
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for test case generation, prompt engineering, and defect analysis.
- Proven experience leading QA teams and managing direct reports.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with SQL, API testing
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to LLM-based application testing
- Experience with AI-assisted log analysis, anomaly detection, or exploratory testing.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Previous experience in healthcare or insurance SaaS domains.
