Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer for our Application Modernization team. The candidate will work on modernizing legacy Java applications, migrating them to Spring Boot architecture, and developing secure, scalable, cloud-native enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Modernize and migrate legacy Java applications to Spring Boot.
- Participate in platform upgrades and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Develop secure, scalable, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Resolve vulnerabilities identified through Snyk, Checkmarx and similar tools.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, optimization and application upgrades.
- Prepare technical designs and documentation.
- Collaborate with distributed Agile development teams.
- Improve application monitoring, logging and observability.
Mandatory Skills
- 5–7 years of Java development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8 or above.
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch and Spring Security.
- Application modernization and legacy platform migration.
- Java fundamentals, OOP, Collections and Exception Handling.
- Maven and Gradle.
- Hibernate or OpenJPA.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- OAuth2 and API Gateway security.
- JUnit and Mockito.
- Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Git, Bitbucket or GitHub.
- CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
- SonarQube, Snyk and Checkmarx.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Good to Have
- Struts and EJB.
- Apache Kafka.
- Ansible.
- Banking, insurance or financial services domain experience.
- Cloud-native development experience.
Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gurugram, Delhi
