Role Objective
Drive business growth through partner development, customer engagement, and solution-based selling of BD Software’s cybersecurity and IT solutions portfolio.
Essential:
1. Customer & Business Understanding
- Develop strong understanding of customer business, industry challenges, and IT environment
- Identify key decision-makers and map our solutions with them
- Build long-term relationships with customers and partners
2. Solution-Based Selling Approach
- Position BD Software solutions as business enablers, not just products
- Understand customer challenges and propose the right cybersecurity / IT solution
- Work closely with presales for demos, POCs, and solution alignment
3. Funnel Generation & Partner Development
- Generate sales pipeline through:
- Cold calling
- Partner engagement
- Field visits
- Events with partner / customer
- Develop and activate new partners (SI / Resellers / Retail)
- Drive joint business plans with partners
4. Listening & Need Identification
- Actively listen to customer requirements and pain points
- Convert business discussions into qualified opportunities
- Capture and share accurate requirement details internally
5. Sales Closure & Target Achievement
- Own complete sales cycle from lead to closure
- Ensure timely follow-ups, negotiations, and deal conversions
- Achieve monthly / quarterly targets consistently
6. Field Sales & Relationship Building
- Strong focus on face-to-face meetings with customers & partners
- Regular visits for relationship building and deal acceleration
- Represent BD Software professionally in all interactions
Speed & Responsiveness:
- Quick response to customers & partners
- Fast turnaround on proposals, demo scheduling, and follow-ups
Ownership Mindset
- Take complete ownership of assigned territory/business
- No dependency mindset — drive deals independently
Pipeline Discipline
- Maintain daily activity tracking (calls, meetings, conversions)
- Strong CRM hygiene and forecasting
Cross-Selling Capability
- Promote multiple solutions (BD Software profile)
- Identify upsell & cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts
Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with Presales, Support, and Management
Ensure smooth execution from demo to delivery
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of IT / Cybersecurity / Software sales experience
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to handle partners and customers independently
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive
- Hardware / software knowledge
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
