Senior Design Engineer
Qualification and Skills Formal Qualifications Essential
- B. Tech/ B.E. in mechanical engineering
- 6-8 Years of relevant experience in Bevel Gear Design within the automotive transmission or gear manufacturing Industry
- Proficiency in KISS Soft (Gear Design), SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD.
Desirable
· Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
· Certification or specialized training in Gear Design, CAD/CAM or Product Design.
· Experience with NPD, APQP, PPAP
Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills RequiredEssential
- Strong knowledge of Bevel Gear Design & Design Geometry.
- Hands on Experience with KISS Soft for gear calculation and design validation
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA and AutoCAD.
- Expertise in 3D Modeling, 2D detailing, and engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Spiral Bevel, Straight Bevel and Hypoid Gear Design.
- Experience with FEA/CAE analysis and simulation tools.
- Experience working with OEMs and global automotive customers.
