Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PRT Mathematics Teacher to make mathematics enjoyable and meaningful for primary students. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, activity-based lessons that build strong foundational numeracy, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Develop students' numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and technology-integrated teaching methods.
- Assess student progress and maintain academic records.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic progress.
- Participate in school events, meetings, assessments, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as a subject.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (preferred).
- CTET/State TET qualification is an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a primary school is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also apply.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per hour
