Job Summary
Sigachi Industries is seeking an experienced Utility Operator to manage and monitor utility systems at its Dahej manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boilers, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, water systems, and other utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor utility equipment including boilers, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, pumps, and water treatment systems.
- Maintain utility parameters within specified operating limits.
- Conduct routine inspections and record operating parameters in logbooks.
- Perform start-up, shutdown, and routine operational activities of utility systems.
- Identify abnormalities and coordinate with maintenance teams for corrective actions.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, compressed air, chilled water, cooling water, and other utilities to production areas.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance activities.
- Maintain utility consumption records and shift reports.
- Follow SOPs, GMP requirements, and safety procedures.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of industrial utility systems and equipment.
- Understanding of boiler, compressor, chiller, cooling tower, and pump operations.
- Ability to monitor process parameters and respond to operational issues.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Good troubleshooting and equipment handling skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
