We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our sales efforts within a designated geographical region. The ASM will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strong client relationships to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in sales management.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and expand market share within the assigned area.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Set clear sales targets, monitor individual and team performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure goals are met.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate leads, and develop new client accounts to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Conduct regular field visits with sales team members to provide support, observe performance, and engage directly with key clients.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
