Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives across multiple manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical, medical devices, pharmaceutical, and food manufacturing industries, with a proven track record of expanding market presence, driving revenue growth, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company’s footprint in the chemical, medical devices, pharma, and food manufacturing domains.
- Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Production, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance) to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements.
- Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management.
- Monitor and evaluate business performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of proven business development experience within chemical manufacturing, medical devices manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and/or food manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and manage complex sales cycles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
