A fast-growing Indo-Canadian Supermarket Chain operating in Canada is establishing back office operations in Vadodara, India. The company seeks an experienced Operations Executive to join the executive leadership team, responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic planning, and overall business efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Operational Oversight:
· Collaborate with the CEO and executives to develop and implement the company's strategic vision.
· Provide strategic direction for the supermarket chain's back-office operations in India.
· Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to processes and standards.
· Monitor KPIs to measure and improve operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Lead and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
· Develop and implement talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization:
· Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations, including supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and store operations.
· Implement best practices, process improvements, and automation for enhanced efficiency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement streamlined workflows.
Financial Management:
· Monitor financial performance and analyze key metrics.
· Manage financial transactions, including invoicing, bill payments, and reconciliation.
· Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.
Communication and Collaboration:
· Act as a liaison between back office and on-location teams.
· Setup MIS systems that align with organizational goals and enhances decision making process.
· Collaborate with IT service providers for technology solutions.
Supply Chain and Logistics:
· Oversee global supply chain, distribution, and logistics functions.
· Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to optimize inventory levels.
Qualifications Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
· Proven experience in a senior leadership role in the retail or supermarket industry.
· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
· Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency and achieving financial targets.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
