Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack MERN Developer to join us as a Team Leader. In this role, you will lead and manage React/MERN development teams, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor MERN/React development teams.
- Review and ensure high standards of code quality, architecture, and performance.
- Take ownership of end-to-end development using React.js, Node.js, Express,and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with designers, backend teams, DevOps, and QA to drive project success.
- Manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices, including sprint planning and task allocation.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while promoting best practices.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and align development with business goals.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js,
- React.js, Node.js).
- Proven experience leading frontend or full-stack development teams.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React (Hooks, Context API, Redux).
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integrations.
- Solid understanding of database design and MongoDB performance optimization.
- Experience with Git, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of DevOps practices, deployment strategies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker, Nginx, or serverless architecture.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Experience working in Agile environments and related tools (e.g., Jira).
- Understanding of performance optimization and scalable system design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior developer role.
