Key Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Professional accreditation like MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or AIQS (Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors) is highly valued for career advancement.
- Analytical Ability: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- Negotiation & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
Core Responsibilities1. Pre-Construction & Estimating
- Cost Planning: Analyze architectural blueprints and design specifications to forecast the overall costs of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Feasibility Studies: Evaluate proposed projects to ensure they are financially viable and offer strong return on investment.
- Tendering & Bidding: Prepare tender packages, Bill of Quantities (BoQs), and contract documents to secure competitive bids from contractors
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
