Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced EDP / ERP & IT Incharge for our upcoming manufacturing unit in Surat. The role involves managing IT systems, supporting ERP implementation, ensuring accurate data flow across departments, and generating MIS reports for management.
The candidate will act as a key link between production, stores, purchase, sales, accounts, and IT vendors to build a structured, data-driven manufacturing system.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP & Data Management
- Support implementation and daily operations of ERP across all departments (production, stores, purchase, sales, dispatch, quality, accounts, admin).
- Coordinate with ERP/software vendors for setup, customization, testing, issue resolution, and user support.
- Maintain master data including item masters, customer/vendor masters, machine data, and user access control.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of production, inventory, dispatch, and quality data.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for production, stock, efficiency, wastage, dispatch, and order status.
- Monitor data consistency and highlight gaps or errors.
Team Coordination & Training
- Supervise and train data entry operators (DEOs) and end-users.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry across all departments.
- Support smooth adoption of ERP/system processes on the shop floor.
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage IT infrastructure including computers, printers, scanners, networking, internet, CCTV, and barcode systems.
- Coordinate with hardware, networking, CCTV, and software vendors.
- Handle system backups, user permissions, IT asset tracking, and basic security.
Process Improvement
- Help reduce manual work and improve digital tracking systems.
- Support automation of reporting and production tracking processes.
- Work closely with management to improve operational efficiency through data systems.
Candidate Profile
- 3–8 years of experience in EDP, ERP support, IT support, or MIS roles.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Exposure to textiles, packaging, plastics, woven sacks, FIBC, extrusion, or similar industries is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and MIS reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and basic IT infrastructure support.
- Ability to train users and coordinate across departments.
Preferred Skills
- ERP implementation or ERP support experience.
- Knowledge of barcode systems, inventory tracking, and production data systems.
- Experience with Excel dashboards or Power BI (added advantage).
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows.
- Vendor coordination and requirement gathering skills.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
