Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in Biology and Environmental Systems & Societies across IB and Cambridge curriculum programmes. The role requires an educator who can inspire students through interactive learning methodologies, critical thinking, and real-world application of scientific concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Biology, Environmental Management (EVM), and Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS)
- Plan and implement inquiry-based and student-centered teaching strategies aligned with IB and Cambridge curriculum standards
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and laboratory activities to support conceptual understanding
- Encourage scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, research skills, and environmental consciousness among students
- Monitor student progress and provide regular academic feedback and support
- Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and assessment documentation
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and positive classroom environment
- Participate actively in curriculum planning, school activities, departmental initiatives, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with parents, coordinators, and faculty members to support holistic student growth and well-being
Eligibility Criteria
- Relevant teaching experience in Biology and ESS/EVM
- Strong understanding of IB and/or Cambridge curriculum frameworks and assessment practices
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for innovative and experiential teaching methodologies
- IB/IGCSE-trained candidates will be preferred

Experience
- Relevant teaching experience in ESS, Environmental Management, and Biology preferred
- Experience teaching international curricula will be considered an advantage
