Role Overview:
Responsible for validating WLAN protocols, system-level functionality, and performance of networking products. This role involves manual and automation testing, with strong expertise in 802.11 standards and networking fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform WLAN protocol, system-level, and interoperability testing.
- Conduct performance tests including throughput, latency, and stability measurements.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and validation scripts.
- Develop automation scripts using Python (Shell scripting preferred).
- Use traffic generators, sniffers, and test automation tools for debugging and analysis.
- Report defects with detailed logs and work independently on issue reproduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of WLAN technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Hands-on experience in networking and manual testing of WLAN products.
- Proficiency in Python scripting; Shell scripting is an advantage.
- Experience with tools like iPerf, IxChariot, Wireshark, sniffers, and test management platforms.
- Good problem-solving ability, creativity, and ability to work independently.
