Hiring: Cost Estimation Engineer

- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Cost Estimation, Product Costing, or Manufacturing Costing in an Engineering Industry
Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Cost Estimation & Product Costing
- Understanding of Sheet Metal, Fabrication & Assembly Processes
- Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing & Cost Breakdown
- Ability to read Engineering Drawings & Technical Specifications
- Proficiency in MS Excel & ERP Systems
- Good Analytical, Communication & Coordination Skills
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for new products and customer inquiries
- Analyze drawings, BOMs, and specifications for costing
- Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs
- Prepare cost comparison and cost breakdown reports
- Maintain costing data in ERP systems
- Support quotation preparation and profitability analysis
- Monitor raw material price changes and update costing data
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and support value engineering initiatives
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and Procurement teams
- Generate periodic costing reports and support audits
