We’re seeking a detail oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Account Management: Oversee general ledger activities, including entries, reconciliations, and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Client Billing: Prepare monthly client invoices based on key revenue drivers and pass‑through expenses.
- Expense Management: Review, approve, and sync credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements.
- Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, including updates for additions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Audit Coordination: Work with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to financial reporting.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support other tasks and duties as needed to ensure smooth finance operations.
Mandatory:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting for North America region
- Previously worked in a shared services environment supporting North America
- Fully Qualified Accountant (CA, ICWA, CPA, ACCA, etc.) & Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or related
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
