Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement business strategies and objectives.
- Work with senior management to set long-term goals for the organization.
- Ensure that business goals and objectives are met.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
2.Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company or business unit.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of departments and employees.
- Implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the company’s budget and ensure financial goals are met.
3.Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage employees and department heads.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Foster a positive and productive company culture.
- Resolve any personnel issues that may arise and ensure that HR policies are followed.
4.Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Control costs and improve profitability.
- Ensure the financial health of the organization by monitoring expenditures and revenues.
5.Customer and Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and customers.
- Ensure that the company’s products/services meet customer expectations.
- Oversee customer service departments and handle any significant client issues or complaints.
6.Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Mitigate risks and ensure the company operates within the legal framework.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure employee well-being.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus. o Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to motivate teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- In-depth understanding of the industry and market trends.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
