The Store Manager is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, inventory control, and issue of raw materials, bought-out items, electrical components, fabricated parts, and finished goods. The role ensures uninterrupted material availability for production while maintaining inventory accuracy, traceability, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials as per company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and ensure timely transaction entries.
- Ensure material availability to support production schedules without delays.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely replenishment.
- Conduct daily, monthly, and annual physical stock verification and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable to prevent material aging.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and traceability of all materials.
- Maintain separate storage for accepted, rejected, quarantine, and customer-supplied materials.
- Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Production, and Dispatch departments for smooth material flow.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive electrical components to prevent damage.
- Maintain housekeeping and implement 5S standards throughout the store.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory requirements within the store.
- Prepare and submit inventory, stock movement, shortage, and consumption reports to management.
- Lead and supervise store personnel, assign daily tasks, and monitor their performance.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required inventory records and documents.
- Control material wastage, pilferage, and unauthorized stock movements.
- Ensure timely dispatch of materials to production and customers as per schedule.
- Continuously improve store processes to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Maintain proper documentation for GRNs, material issue slips, stock transfers, returns, and dispatch records.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
