Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Wood CNC Machine Programmer & Operator who has hands-on experience in programming and operating CNC router machines used in the woodworking and furniture manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate Wood CNC Router machines.
- Prepare CNC programs from AutoCAD drawings or design files.
- Set up the machine, tools, and workpieces before production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
- Ensure accurate cutting, engraving, drilling, and routing of wooden components.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain product quality.
- Perform machine calibration and routine maintenance.
- Minimize material wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Coordinate with the production and design teams to complete jobs on time.
- Follow safety and quality standards during machine operations.
Required Skills
- 3–8 years of experience as a Wood CNC Machine Programmer & Operator.
- Hands-on experience with CNC Router Machines.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and CNC programming.
- Experience with software such as ArtCAM, Aspire, AlphaCAM, or similar CNC programming software.
- Ability to read technical drawings and prepare machine programs.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials, cutting tools, and machining techniques.
- Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
