- We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Administrator to manage optimize and secure our Snowflake data platform
- The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Snowflake administration performance tuning security and data management ensuring high availability and efficient data operations
- Administer and maintain the Snowflake data warehouse environment
- Manage user roles access controls and security policies RBAC data masking encryption
- Monitor system performance query optimization and warehouse scaling
- Configure and manage virtual warehouses resource monitors and cost optimization
- Implement data loading and unloading processes Snowpipe COPY commands external stages
- Manage data sharing replication and failover strategies across regions accounts
- Troubleshoot issues related to performance connectivity and data pipelines
- Implement backup and recovery strategies and ensure data availability
- Collaborate with data engineers analysts and architects for system improvements
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting Python Shell or Snowflake procedures
- Ensure governance compliance and best practices for data security and usage
- 2 5 years of experience in Snowflake Administration or Data Warehouse management
- Strong hands on experience with Snowflake architecture and features
- Proficiency in SQL and query performance tuning
- Experience with data integration tools Informatica Talend Azure Data Factory etc
- Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure AWS or GCP
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts ETL ELT processes
- Experience with security implementation RBAC data masking encryption
- Familiarity with Snowflake utilities Snowpipe Time Travel Zero Copy Cloning
- Experience in monitoring and cost management within Snowflake
- Snowflake Certifications e
