Job Summary
The CCTV Helper assists CCTV technicians in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, networking cables, and related security equipment. The role requires physical fitness, willingness to learn, and the ability to travel to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians in installing CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, biometric devices, and other security systems.
- Carry and organize tools, cables, and equipment required for installations.
- Support cable laying, conduit installation, drilling, and mounting of cameras.
- Help in basic networking and power connections under technician supervision.
- Clean and maintain tools and work equipment.
- Assist in testing CCTV systems after installation.
- Follow safety procedures while working at heights or on-site.
- Report damaged equipment or materials to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness at the worksite after completing the installation.
- Perform other duties assigned by the CCTV Technician or Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass / Intermediate.
- ITI or technical knowledge is an added advantage.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of electrical work is preferred.
Skills Required
- Willingness to learn CCTV installation and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift equipment.
- Ability to travel to installation sites.
Experience
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in CCTV, electrical, or networking work.
Working Hours
- 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (or as per company requirements).
- Willingness to work overtime or travel when required.
Salary
- As per company standards and candidate experience.
