Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Cutting Incharge to oversee the garment cutting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring accurate fabric cutting while meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and minimizing fabric wastage.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily cutting operations according to the production schedule.
- Ensure fabric spreading, marker placement, and cutting are carried out accurately.
- Monitor fabric consumption and control fabric wastage.
- Coordinate with the Production, Planning, and Quality teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Verify cutting orders, patterns, and measurements before production.
- Maintain cutting quality and ensure all cut panels meet specifications.
- Supervise and guide cutting operators to achieve productivity targets.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of cutting machines and equipment.
- Maintain daily production records and cutting reports.
- Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Cutting Incharge in the garment/apparel industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, marker planning, fabric spreading, and cutting processes.
- Ability to manage a team and achieve production targets.
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
