Role Overview:
The State Head will be responsible for driving business growth, market share, and profitability across the assigned state. This role involves managing sales, distribution, marketing initiatives, and channel partners while ensuring alignment with company objectives. The candidate must have strong leadership skills, FMCG industry expertise, and proven ability to manage large teams and dealer networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales
- Drive primary & secondary sales to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Expand distribution footprint and ensure product availability across urban, rural, and semi-urban markets.
- Implement trade marketing activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Team Management
- Lead, train, and motivate Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and sales representatives.
- Conduct performance reviews and build a high-performance sales culture.
- Channel & Distributor Management
- Appoint, manage, and monitor distributors, stockists, and channel partners.
- Ensure smooth supply chain, inventory control, and credit management.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
- Develop strategies to capture market opportunities and improve penetration.
- Financial Management
- Control operational costs and ensure profitability.
- Manage trade spends, schemes, and discounts effectively.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory compliances, and ethical business practices.
- Provide periodic reports on sales performance, market trends, and business plans to management.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
- 5 to 7 years of proven FMCG sales experience with at least 3–5 years in a regional/state leadership role.
- Strong exposure to distributor/channel management and team handling.
Salary Range: 12 Lakh – 15 Lakh per annum
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
